We use your information to provide and improve the ServiceScout platform, process payments, send transactional notifications (including SMS alerts about your service bookings), and communicate with you about your account. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. SMS Communications

By providing your phone number on our platform, you consent to receive SMS messages related to your use of the ServiceScout platform. This includes appointment confirmations, job updates, estimates, invoices, and messages from service professionals you have engaged through or outside of the platform.

Service professionals using Scout Pro may also send SMS messages to their existing customers through the ServiceScout platform as part of their business operations. Those customers consent to receive such messages at the time they engage the service professional's services.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for assistance.

Mobile phone numbers and SMS consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. SMS opt-in data and consent will not be sold, rented, or shared with any third party for marketing or promotional purposes.

4. Data Sharing

We share your information only with service providers who help us operate the platform (such as payment processors and SMS providers), and only as necessary to provide our services. We do not sell or rent your personal data.

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Payment information is processed by Stripe and never stored on our servers.
