Service Scout ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Service Scout! mobile application and servicescout.app website (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information, and describes your rights under applicable federal and state privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA), Colorado Privacy Act (CPA), Connecticut Data Privacy Act (CTDPA), and other applicable state privacy laws.

By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

Payment card details are collected and processed directly by Stripe, Inc. We never store full card numbers, CVV codes, or sensitive cardholder data on our servers. We store only the Stripe Customer ID and last-four digits of your card for display purposes.

You may delete your account at any time directly within the Service Scout app:

Upon deletion, your personal information is anonymized, your Stripe payment method is detached, and you are permanently signed out. You may also request deletion by emailing support@servicescout.app. We will process your request within 30 days (45 days for CCPA requests, with notice of any extension).

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. If you discover a security vulnerability, please email support@servicescout.app immediately.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided personal information, we will delete it immediately. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact support@servicescout.app.

We do not sell or share California residents' personal information as those terms are defined under CCPA/CPRA. We do not use sensitive personal information for any purpose other than providing the Service.

California-Specific Rights:

To submit a verifiable consumer request, email support@servicescout.app. We will respond within 45 days (extendable by 45 days with notice). You may also authorize an agent to make a request on your behalf.
